1 lb ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can Tomato soup
1 cup of water
1/4 Ts pepper
1 Ts salt
1 TS chilli powder
1 can corn
1 chopped green bell peper
Saute onion and beef, add the rest and simmer for 15 min.
3/4 cup corn meal
1 TS flour
1 TS sugar
1/2 Ts salt
1 1/2 Ts baking powder
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup milk
1 TS oil
Mix dry goods and add the egg and the milk and fold in the oil.
Place meat mix in greased casserole and cover with corn bread topping.
Bake at 425• F for 20-25 min.

HOT PUNCH
...A delicious (Christmas) Punch...
INGREDIENTS
4.5 l Water
4 cup Sugar
1.5 l Pineapple Juice
1 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
2 1/2 cup Orange Juice
1 Ts Cloves
3 Ts Cinnamon
PREPERATION
Cook water, sugar and spices and bring to boil. Let sit and add juices. Can be stored in fridge up to 3 weeks.
INGREDIENTS

Except egg whites, mix all ingredients together. Beat egg white until stiff and to mixture. Bake in 8" pan at 180 C/350 F for 1 h.

COUGH SHOT
..an old South African recipe...
INGREDIENTS
1 Lemon
1 dash Grounded nutmeg
1 dash Grounded cloves
¼ Tsp. Cinnamon powder
3-4 slices Fresh ginger
2 Tsp. Honey
1 shot Dark rum
1 cup Orange juice
PREPARATION
Slowly bring orange juice, honey and spices, including ginger to boil. Set for a moment until cool enough to drink. Add the lemon juice and the shot of rum!
Cheers, drink it as hot as possible!

INGREDIENTS
500 g Whole wheat flour
1 ½ Tsp. Baking powder
2 Tsp. Cinnamon powder
4 Tbsp. Chocolate powder
1 Tsp. Grounded cloves
2 dashes Salt
450 g Sugar
3 dl Water
130 g Dark chocolate
20 g Butter
300 g Powder sugar
PREPARATION
Preheat oven at 180° Celsius.
Mix flour, baking powder, half amount of chocolate powder, spices and sugar. Slowly add water to the mix until a smooth dough is created. Spread on buttered baking sheet 2-3 cm thick. Bake for ~ 25 minutes. Let it cool off for a few minutes and cut in 3 x 3 cm pieces.
Mix for the glazing the dark chocolate, butter, ~ 1 dl of water, the powder sugar and the rest of chocolate powder in a pot at low temperature until smooth.
Turn the cake pieces in the glazing and place on backing grid to dry overnight.
Best when made a few days in advance!
